The Buoys as they at present exist will enable a Vessel of draught in proportion to tho least water (9 feet) to be taken in, but not as heretofore to be passed on the Port hand going up.

No. 1, the outer or North Saud Head Buoy, is in its ol.i poeitiou.

No. 2 has shifted to the Southward, and may now be passed on either sido ; it may be moved to North bank.

No. 3, the Nuu Buoy, may bo removed and placed in the position of tho temporary Cask Buoy.

No. 4 does not require removing, and may bo passed as heretofore.

No. 5, temporary Buoy, may bo passed on either side, Sonth reconimeudeJ, at £ a Cable distant.

No. 6 need not of necessity bo ro-» moved.

No. T, the Buoy with bands, has drifted to South bank in G feet low waier, it need not be removed, but must be passed on starboard hand going up, at a distance of 1 Cable.

No. 8, Nun Buoy, in i foot nt low-water, may bo removed and placed as shown iu the tracing.

No. 9, Striped Buoy, should bo removed to position nssigucd to it on true* ing, viz.:—S. | E.2 Cables from its pro sen: position, or on a line from No. 8.
